Emily Ziegler, Psy.D., Q.M.E

Dr. Ziegler has been studying and working in the field of psychology since 2000. Dr. Ziegler received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pacific Union College where she graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Ziegler then went on to receive her Doctorate of Psychology in Forensic Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University.

Dr. Ziegler's professional background consists of being a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME), a Consulting Psychologist for the Mentally Disordered Offender Unit, a Psychologist for Positive Change Counseling Center, and a Consulting Psychologist Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD.

Jennifer Lundy-Aguerre, MFT & Owner

Jennifer has been practicing in the mental health field since 2001 and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a M.A. in Marital & Family Therapy from the University of San Diego ’02. Upon licensure, Jennifer opened up her own private practice, Positive Change Counseling Center. Over the years her practice has grown and she now has two locations and employs over 20 licensed mental health professionals.

Jennifer and Dr. Emily Ziegler met when Dr. Ziegler began working with Positive Change as an outpatient Psychologist treating individuals for Anxiety, Depression and Trauma. Due to Jennifer’s excellent practice management skills, Dr. Ziegler proposed the idea that Jennifer offer administrative support for scheduling, report reviews and billing for QMEs performed by Dr. Ziegler.

In 2019, Coastal Medical Evaluations & Billing, Inc. was formed and currently offers six locations for QME evaluations. Coastal Medical Evaluations & Billing, Inc. offers superior support from beginning to end of the QME process. We coordinate and schedule all requested QMEs within the required timeline and accept medical records on your behalf. We also provide a questionnaire to QME claimants two weeks prior to their scheduled evaluation in an effort to support the evaluator with necessary background information pertinent to the report. Our exceptional claims collections process has resulted in 100% collections for QME evaluations from 2017 - 2019. Our Administrative Coordinator works closely with claims adjusters to ensure accurate and full payment on all services rendered, resulting in quick payment to YOU!
Linette Mace, Administrative Specialist
Linette has over 20 years in the Iowa public school system. She has years of experience in consulting for the extended learning and advanced learning program for students in kindergarten through the 12th grade, to include early college entry, advanced test proctoring and STEM initiatives. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. From there she went on to receive her Masters of Science in Education from Drake University. In Linette's free time she enjoys a lot of family time, cooking new and healthy recipes. Some of her favorite hobbies include yoga, sewing, outdoor activities, and volunteering when she can.
